    We carry a wide selection of eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses for adults and children. Our collection includes designer frames, budget-friendly options, and specialty lenses like blue light filters, transitions, and progressive lenses.
  • Do I need an appointment for an eye exam?
    Yes, appointments are required for all eye exams. Our optometrist is available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, alternating Thursdays, and Saturdays. Please call or book online in advance to secure your preferred time slot.
  • How often should I get my eyes tested?
    Children (under 19): Covered by OHIP for a full eye exam once every 12 months. Seniors (65+): Covered once every 18 months. Adults (20–64): Not covered by OHIP unless there are specific medical conditions. Eye exams are recommended every 2 years or as needed based on individual eye health. We also accept private insurance and can help check your eligibility for coverage.
  • Do you accept insurance or offer direct billing?
    Yes! We offer direct billing and accept most major insurance providers, including: Sun Life Manulife Greenshield Blue Cross Canada Life (formerly Great-West Life) Desjardins Industrial Alliance ClaimSecure Empire Life GroupHEALTH Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance Plan If your provider isn’t listed, feel free to contact us — we may still be able to assist with your claim.
  • How long does it take to get my glasses?
    For single vision lenses in stock, we can often have your glasses ready same day. If the lenses need to be ordered, the turnaround time is typically 3–5 business days. Specialty lenses such as progressives or high-index may take slightly longer, depending on lab processing.
  • Can I reuse my old frames with new lenses?
    Yes, we can fit new lenses into your existing frames if they’re in good condition. However, please note that we are not responsible for any damage or breakage that may occur during the lens replacement process, as older frames may be more fragile.
  • Do you offer contact lens fittings and training?
    Yes! We offer comprehensive contact lens fittings for a $50 fee, which includes the fitting, trial contact lenses, follow-up if needed, and full training on how to insert, remove, and care for your lenses—perfect for both first-time and returning wearers.
  • What should I bring to my eye exam?
    Please bring your valid health card (if eligible for OHIP), any current glasses or contact lenses, and a list of medications or vision concerns. If you are using insurance, we kindly ask that you fill out the intake form on our website prior to your appointment. This helps us process your claim and ensure assignment of benefits without delays.
  • Can I return or exchange my glasses if I’m not satisfied?
    We want you to love your eyewear! If there’s an issue with your prescription or lenses, please contact us within 5 days of pickup. We’ll do our best to resolve the issue through adjustments or remakes if necessary. Please note: We do not offer refunds, and some restrictions may apply to customized or special-order items.
  • Do you provide sunglasses with prescription lenses?
    Yes, we offer a wide range of prescription sunglasses that combine vision correction with UV protection and style. You can choose from: Polarized lenses to reduce glare, ideal for driving and outdoor activities Photochromic (Transition) lenses that darken in sunlight and clear indoors Tinted lenses in various shades for style and comfort Mirrored or anti-reflective coatings for added performance We carry designer and sport frames that can be customized with your prescription, giving you clear, protected vision outdoors without needing clip-ons or wearing contacts.
